About The Position

We are a multifaceted CPA firm with 16 offices across the western region of the United States, providing financial and tax planning to business and personal clients through payroll, bookkeeping, auditing, and tax services. The firm also works closely with financial advisors and family attorneys to provide a broad range of services under one roof. The Senior Tax Associate will join the tax department at the firm's Medford, Oregon office. The role is designed to provide training and support for advancement within the organization. The position analyzes client-submitted tax data and prepares tax returns. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and communicates effectively in writing and orally when handling correspondence from clients and tax authorities.

Requirements

At least 3 years of tax experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Desire to work in public accounting.
Detail-oriented, with strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain client confidentiality by following company procedures for handling information.
Prepare tax returns and supporting work papers for various individual and business entities.
Communicate promptly and professionally with team members and clients.
Analyze financial information to determine tax liabilities and deductions.
Review client documents for accuracy and completeness before filing.
Address client inquiries and concerns related to their tax situations and provide exceptional customer service.
Stay current on tax law and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
Learn and navigate multiple software programs.
