About The Position

Fluor's Corporate Tax Department is seeking a high-performing Senior Tax Analyst to join our team at our headquarters in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will collaborate with industry professionals, navigate complex corporate tax landscapes, and contribute directly to our global financial operations.

Requirements

  • Accredited 4-year bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant federal and state corporate income tax experience within public accounting or a large multinational corporation.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of Forms 5471 and other international tax compliance filings
  • Assist in the preparation of complex partnership and state income tax returns
  • Support quarterly and year-end ASC 740 income tax provision calculations
  • Reconcile, review, and maintain deferred tax schedules and supporting documentation
  • Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Juris Doctor Law (JD) certification or global equivalent required
  • Master of Science in Taxation (MST) and/or Master of Laws (LLM) degree or global equivalent
  • Four (4) years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm, law firm and/or large multinational company
  • Two (2) years reviewing/preparing consolidated tax returns
  • Intermediate computer and software skills to include the use of word processing and email as well as the intermediate use of spreadsheets and electronic presentations
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • High critical thinking/reasoning ability

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review pro-forma and separate company Federal income tax returns.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated Federal income tax returns, Forms 5471, and complex partnership/state returns.
  • Support quarterly and year-end ASC 740 tax provisions, reconcile and review deferred tax schedules.
  • Assist in gathering critical financial data, research technical tax issues, and draft formal responses to federal and state tax audit requests.
  • Maintain a high level of proficiency in evolving federal and state income tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Execute other strategic tax duties and corporate projects as assigned.
