About The Position

The Sr. Tax Analyst, US Tax Compliance is a seasoned individual contributor responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate tax reporting, monitoring legislative changes, and supporting audits and cross‑functional initiatives. The position offers the opportunity to work on complex tax matters that directly impact financial reporting, compliance, and business decisions within a global medical technology organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).
  • 4–6 years of progressive experience in U.S. tax compliance, tax accounting, or public accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Experience preparing or reviewing corporate income tax returns and supporting schedules.
  • Ability to analyze tax legislation and translate requirements into practical business guidance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • English (business proficiency required).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Taxation or Accounting (preferred).
  • Experience supporting tax audits and interacting with tax authorities.
  • Exposure to tax provision processes and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP.
  • Experience in a multinational or regulated industry environment.
  • Familiarity with tax compliance and reporting systems and tools.
  • CPA or progress toward CPA or similar professional certification.
  • CPA or equivalent certification (preferred, not required).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax laws through accurate preparation, review, and filing of tax returns and related schedules.
  • Prepare and analyze tax calculations, supporting schedules, and documentation for income tax provision and statutory reporting.
  • Monitor, interpret, and communicate changes in tax legislation and regulatory requirements affecting the business.
  • Support internal and external audits, including responding to tax authority inquiries and coordinating with external advisors.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of tax processes, controls, and reporting procedures.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects related to tax policy, systems, and process enhancements.
  • Assist with tax modeling, forecasts, and analysis to support business initiatives, acquisitions, or restructuring activities.
  • Provide guidance and informal coaching to junior team members on tax compliance activities and best practices.
