About The Position

Qualio is seeking a Senior Talent Partner to architect the company's talent acquisition strategy. This role involves owning full-cycle recruiting across various teams, with a global reach, and actively shaping talent acquisition practices for the future. The ideal candidate views recruiting as a discipline, capable of building strategy, executing JEDI-informed sourcing, leveraging AI tools, and acting as a strategic business partner to hiring managers. The position operates in an async-first, globally distributed environment, emphasizing communication and judgment. This role offers significant growth potential for those excited about building modern recruiting practices, including experimenting with AI agents and automating workflows. The Senior Talent Partner will join a People Ops team of four, working collaboratively to build and refine talent acquisition processes. The role is crucial in supporting the acceleration of the life science industry by hiring the right talent.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with meaningful depth across functions, ideally in high-growth SaaS or deep tech environments.
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across global markets (US and EU required), with a clear understanding of how candidate expectations, compensation norms, and interview culture differ by geography.
  • Genuine fluency with AI-powered recruiting tools; experience using them, having opinions, and being excited to push further.
  • Experience building and executing JEDI-informed sourcing strategies and diverse candidate slates, with data to support.
  • Strong proficiency with modern ATS systems; Greenhouse experience is a strong plus.
  • Ability to build trusted, candid relationships with hiring managers and operate as a true business partner.
  • Comfort with data: tracking what matters, spotting trends, and using numbers to influence decisions.
  • A bias for documentation, async communication, and proactive stakeholder management.
  • Experience attending or presenting at industry conferences or talent communities, with an actively maintained network.
  • Genuine curiosity about the intersection of technology and talent; reading updates, trying tools, and sharing learnings.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for senior and leadership roles (Director and above) across functions in the US and EU, ensuring a high-quality, human-centered candidate experience.
  • Conduct sophisticated candidate interviews focusing on motivational fit, values alignment, GWC (Get it, Want it, Capacity to do it), and technical skills.
  • Serve as a problem solver and facilitator through final negotiations, acting as a bridge between Talent and Qualio.
  • Design and own a proactive recruiting strategy that balances hiring velocity with pipeline health, including geo strategy, sourcing channel prioritization, and market intelligence.
  • Partner with Finance and People Ops on headcount planning, providing recruiting intelligence on timelines, market conditions, and forecasts.
  • Lead JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) sourcing campaigns, building diverse candidate slates by default and reporting on progress with data.
  • Partner with hiring managers as a strategic advisor from intake through offer, providing calibration support, market insights, and counsel.
  • Design and own recruiting processes for complex, multi-stakeholder searches involving multiple hiring partners, interviewers, or external agencies.
  • Drive employer branding campaigns in partnership with Marketing and People Ops, owning content ideas, social presence, conference storytelling, and candidate-facing messaging.
  • Represent Qualio at industry conferences, virtual events, and talent communities as an employer brand ambassador.
  • Manage external recruiting agencies when partnered on a search.
  • Build and maintain reliable, scalable compensation benchmarking tools grounded in market data, partnering with Finance and People Ops to ensure benchmarks are current and usable across geographies and role levels.
  • Embrace and champion AI-powered recruiting tools as a core part of the workflow.
  • Actively explore emerging tools and platforms (sourcing tech, AI assistants, scheduling automation, candidate engagement tools), piloting and assessing them.
  • Build sourcing agents, automated outreach workflows, and recruiting artifacts to increase speed and quality while maintaining a human touch.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize the recruiting tech stack (Greenhouse, sourcing platforms, etc.) and provide recommendations for additions or removals.
  • Document AI experiments and best practices for the broader People Ops team.
  • Contribute to onboarding activities in partnership with People Ops, bridging the gap between offer acceptance and employee experience.
  • Partner with the broader People Ops team to ensure searches account for holistic team composition, values fit, and long-term organizational needs.
  • Maintain rigorous Greenhouse hygiene, including documentation, scorecard follow-up, req updates, and reporting for real-time visibility into recruiting health.
