Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in a Talent Advisor or Recruiter role.
  • Experience working in healthcare with significant experience in physician/faculty/provider recruitment either in a community hospital or academic setting is preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related fields is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and implement the full-cycle recruitment process for academic/provider recruitment for Cedars-Sinai.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies and recruitment solutions to attract active and passive candidates, considering budget constraints.
  • Maintain significant client and candidate contact during each search, providing timely updates.
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders to share qualified candidate materials and plan visits.
  • Prepare and present offers to candidates, negotiating as appropriate.
  • Remain involved through relocation and transition to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Partner with departments to understand their structure, faculty roster, achievements, operations, and locations to effectively communicate with candidates.
  • Support a concierge approach to recruiting and onboarding high-caliber faculty and providers.
  • Facilitate resolution of questions or issues related to policies, procedures, programs, or benefits, partnering with the Director or Associate Director as needed.
  • Perform comprehensive salary analyses to provide recommended salaries based on experience, market data, and internal equity, and negotiate employment offers.
  • Provide support and education to hiring leaders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Develop training tools and process outlines for hiring managers.
  • Collaborate and lead HR projects, including organizing hiring events/job fairs, attending meetings, reporting on recruitment initiatives, and assisting during regulatory surveys.
  • Implement recruitment practices aligned with active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) for union transfers and hires.
  • Establish partnerships with affiliated schools, associations, and boards.
  • Lead and attend networking events such as job/career fairs to build talent pipelines.
  • Prepare special reports, charts, and spreadsheets as requested, using quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, improve results, and influence hiring decisions.
  • Facilitate and implement the full-cycle recruitment process for all levels of various positions including staff and leadership positions for Cedars-Sinai.
  • Collaborate and/or lead HR projects that require creative applications of knowledge to specific recruitment challenges. HR projects include but are not limited to organizing seasonal hiring events/job fairs, attending meetings and reporting on current recruitment initiatives, assisting the HR department and organization during regulatory surveys.
  • Develop, implement and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies and recruitment solutions to attract active and passive candidates.
  • Creates and recommends appropriate sourcing strategy while considering budget.
  • Analyze client requirements against qualifications of candidates.
  • Work closely with the hiring managers to develop position profile from job intake and understand overall needs and requirements.
  • Screen candidates by conducting interviews, skills assessments when applicable and provide recommendations for hiring decisions.
  • Facilitate resolution of questions and issues that arise from concerns or interest in any policy, procedure, program or benefits. This involves partnering with the TA Manager and/or Director to resolve any unusual and concerning hiring issues or practices.
  • Perform a comprehensive salary analysis and provides a recommended salary based on various factors including but not limited to years of experience, external market data/competitiveness and internal equity, in order to deliver and negotiate offers of employment.
  • Review professional reference feedback and discuss results with the hiring manager in order to assist with the hiring decision as well as help identify gaps where training is needed.
  • Provide support and education to hiring leaders as it relates to the entire recruitment process.
  • Develop training tools/process outlines for hiring managers.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and/or staff on the implementation of recruitment strategies and activities, as well as the execution of marketing and employer branding initiatives.
  • Develop and manage strong consultative relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources Center of Expertise (COE), Lines of Business (LOB) and HR Service Center to deliver a high-quality experience to our hiring managers and new hires.
  • Responsible for implementing recruitment practices that are aligned with any active Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) as it relates to union transfer and/or hires.
  • Establish partnerships with affiliated schools, association and boards, lead, promote and attend networking events such as job/career fairs to strengthen and build talent pipelines.
  • Prepare special reports, charts and spreadsheet upon request and leverage use of quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, improve results and influence hiring decisions.
