About The Position

You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing Fiserv's complex systems infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that these systems operate efficiently, reliably, and securely. You will work closely with a team of engineers, collaborating with various departments to align system capabilities with business needs, ultimately contributing to the company's strategic goals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of enterprise-level Windows infrastructure/system engineering experience
• 6+ years of experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and PowerShell
• 5+ years of experience with cloud integration and support (Azure or AWS preferred) & infrastructure as code configurations (Terraform, Ansible)
• 5+ years of experience supporting .NET, IIS, and SQL Server environments
• 5+ years of experience VMWare, VXRAIL, DNS, and network/firewall troubleshooting
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Apigee, F5 LTM/GTM, and middleware components
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and deployment of infrastructure solutions supporting enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
• Partner with Development, Product, Project Management, and other Engineering teams using a consultative approach to gather and analyze technical requirements
• Provide support for hybrid environments involving both on-premises and public cloud platforms (Azure/AWS preferred)
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency
• Support platforms such as .NET Framework, IIS, MS SQL, and Apigee in conjunction with application deployments
• Manage and troubleshoot infrastructure services like Active Directory, DNS, VMWare, VXRAIL, Group Policy, and Firewall Rules
• Collaborate on network-related troubleshooting and configuration of load balancers (e.g., F5 LTM/GTM)
• Create and maintain documentation for systems, configurations, and processes; enforce adherence to engineering best practices and security standards
