About The Position

First Division Consulting (FirstDiv) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer for a position contingent upon contract award. FirstDiv provides program management, acquisition, logistics, field service representative, explosive ordnance disposal, and personnel support services to Department of Defense and Federal Government agencies. The Senior Systems Engineer provides senior technical analysis across the Solutions & Integration, Common Services Applications, Combat Control Applications, and Mission Command Applications support areas. The role assesses engineering changes, technical evidence, and interfaces, and prepares clear recommendations for Government review.

Requirements

• 12 years of experience performing professional services associated with systems engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience performing senior sustainment analysis, reviewing provisioning and technical records, and reconciling Government property information.
• Complete required training and hold required certifications for assigned Government information systems.
• Meet applicable background investigation, CAC, network, facility, and duty-specific classified-access requirements.
• Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Marine Corps capability sustainment, provisioning, logistics assessments, and property accountability using PIEE, GCSS-MC, TFSMS, and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate system designs and hardware and software changes against approved requirements and interfaces.
• Review vendor and System Support Activity specifications, interface documents, ECPs, test products, analyses, network designs, and drawings.
• Prepare technical analyses, briefs, and white papers supporting decisions and alternatives.
• Contribute to design reviews, technical interchange meetings, IPTs, and CCBs; document technical discussions and actions.
• Review network architecture and system safety information and recommend baseline updates and risk mitigation.
• Create, edit, publish, and archive engineering documents and briefs; perform final quality checks; and support assigned ART activities.
