About The Position

Erias Ventures is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. This role involves interacting with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. The engineer will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives. Responsibilities include ensuring the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288. The role also involves maintaining/producing documentation such as slide decks, standard operating procedures, project overviews, and dataflow/architecture diagrams, as well as maintaining online documentation by archiving outdated pages and ensuring all other pages are current. The engineer must stay current and maintain capabilities compliance, run Sprint Planning and Retrospective meetings, and assist with User Helpdesk by handling access requests, bug reports, and communicating with developer leads for feature requests. Facilitating release end-user testing is also a key responsibility.

Requirements

  • A current Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus ten (10) years of systems engineering experience; or
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus fourteen (14) years of general systems engineering experience (any process area); or
  • A Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience; or
  • A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus eight (8) years of systems engineering experience.
