About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a Senior Systems Analyst, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by leading projects to enhance and maintain systems that support regulatory compliance across the EHS, Product Stewardship, and Research and Development spaces. You will collaborate with compliance experts, business stakeholders, IT teams, and software vendors to develop, implement, and improve system solutions that meet evolving regulatory and operational needs. You will translate business and regulatory requirements into system enhancements, functional specifications, and implementation plans. You will drive system improvement initiatives, including upgrades, configuration changes, maintenance activities, and process optimization. You will manage stakeholder relationships and project communications to ensure alignment, visibility, and user readiness for system changes. You will gather, prioritize, and manage user requests related to system enhancements, functionality improvements, and compliance-driven changes. You will analyze system issues, identify root causes, and coordinate corrective actions to maintain system reliability, performance, and usability. You will partner with IT teams to support system integrations, data flows, testing, release activities, and long-term solution planning. You will support software enhancement and upgrade efforts in partnership with external vendors and internal technical teams. You will stay informed on industry best practices and trends in compliance systems, application support, and systems management to drive continuous improvement. You will contribute to a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution
  • 3 years or more of project management, systems support, systems analysis, or application management experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Experience supporting business systems, including troubleshooting, enhancement delivery, and cross-functional coordination
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
  • Responsibilities of this position may include direct and/or indirect physical or logical access to information, systems, technologies subjected to the regulations/compliance with U.S. Export Control Laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with software analysis tools
  • Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Experience leading system-related projects, including enhancements, upgrades, implementations, or maintenance initiatives
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into system solutions

  • Strong understanding of system functionality, issue resolution, and process improvement
