About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated engineer to join its platform verification team, supporting the DGX server portfolio. The engineer will apply RTL verification knowledge to develop and implement strategies that help deliver the next generation of NVIDIA servers and achieve strong functionality, performance, and quality metrics. The role includes defining design processes, tool flows, and verification approaches for board and system designs; developing board- and system-level RTL and simulation methodologies; and creating simulation models for board-level digital and mixed-signal components. The engineer will also perform pre-silicon verification of PCB designs and collaborate with architecture, ASIC, FPGA, software, and system design teams to build end-to-end pre-gerber-out verification environments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in RTL simulation or PCB design.
  • Software programming skills in Python.
  • Verilog RTL development or simulation experience.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, organizational capabilities, and collaborative interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in system validation.
  • Background in mixed-signal circuit simulation using HSPICE or PrimeSim.
  • Knowledge of system design flows and methods.

Responsibilities

  • Define design processes, tool flows, and verification approaches to deliver bug-free board and system designs.
  • Perform board- and system-level RTL design and develop simulation methodologies.
  • Develop simulation models for board-level digital and mixed-signal components.
  • Perform pre-silicon verification of PCB designs, including connectivity, design rule, and timing checks.
  • Collaborate with architecture, ASIC, FPGA, software, and system design teams to develop end-to-end pre-gerber-out verification environments.
