About The Position

Serve as the operational subject matter expert for enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and cyber resilience platforms, with a strong focus on Commvault technologies. Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve enterprise storage and data protection environments. Ensure service availability, operational stability, compliance, and customer satisfaction while providing expert support for mission-critical infrastructure.

The role covers Commvault Complete Data Protection, enterprise storage from Dell EMC, NetApp, and HPE Alletra/Nimble, virtualization platforms, cloud backup, and Windows Server and Linux systems. The position allows remote work for candidates based in Poland.

Requirements

• Commvault Certified Professional (CCP) certification is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise storage, backup, and recovery.
• Strong hands-on experience running Commvault Complete Data Protection.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• Experience with enterprise storage (Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE) and virtualization (VMware, KVM, Nutanix), plus an understanding of cloud backup (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Linux.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), and strong troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance management skills.
• Fluent Polish and English.

Nice To Haves

• Commvault Certified Engineer (CCEng) certification.
• Commvault Certified Expert (CCE) certification.
• Proficiency in French and/or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Run, monitor, and maintain Commvault backup and recovery, including backups, restores, replication, retention, upgrades, and patches.
• Operate enterprise storage from Dell EMC, NetApp, and HPE, including health checks, capacity management, firmware updates, and changes.
• Troubleshoot complex incidents, perform root cause analysis, and act as the senior escalation point, including on-call duty.
• Maintain immutable backups and cyber recovery, and conduct regular disaster recovery and recovery tests.
• Ensure SLAs, security compliance, and audit requirements are met, and address identified gaps.
• Write and maintain runbooks, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior staff, participate in service reviews, and drive continuous improvement.
