About The Position
Ceva is at the forefront of AI inference and signal processing, powering advanced edge devices with its NPU, Connectivity, Wireless, and Sensing IP platforms. The Senior System Administrator supports global servers, storage, networking, and infrastructure operations across on-premises environments and serves as the senior technical escalation point for infrastructure and enterprise systems. The role partners with R&D and engineering teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of business-critical systems, drives infrastructure modernization and automation initiatives, and oversees backup, recovery, monitoring, and operational resilience across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a system administrator.
- Full proficiency with Microsoft technologies, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and CA.
- Scripting experience with Python, VB, PowerShell, or similar.
- Experience with VMware.
- At least CCNA-level networking knowledge.
- Knowledge and experience with physical servers and various equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Former experience with NetApp.
- Former experience with SAN.
- Former experience with Commvault.
- Former experience with SolarWinds.
- Former experience with Linux.
- Experience with AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot.
Responsibilities
- Administer and support physical and virtual servers across global environments.
- Manage company-wide on-premises and cloud backup solutions, ensuring data protection and recovery readiness.
- Configure, maintain, and support LAN infrastructure across worldwide office locations.
- Evaluate, implement, and promote automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
- Monitor infrastructure health and performance, ensuring the integrity and availability of servers, storage systems, applications, and critical services.
- Troubleshoot incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and recover from system failures.
- Serve as the senior technical escalation point for infrastructure and enterprise systems.
- Partner with R&D and engineering teams to support availability, scalability, and performance of business-critical systems.
- Drive infrastructure modernization, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
- Oversee backup, recovery, monitoring, and operational resilience.
