About The Position

Savanta is seeking a Senior Survey Programmer to join their Americas Operations team. This role involves leading the programming of complex, high-quality online questionnaires, collaborating with Project Managers and Research Teams to meet client needs. The successful candidate will manage multiple projects, take end-to-end ownership of high-complexity builds, and serve as a programming resource for high-profile accounts. Strong hands-on programming experience, ideally in Alchemer (Survey Gizmo), is essential, with experience in platforms like Confirmit or Decipher also considered. The role requires the candidate to be based in the US and work within Eastern Standard Time. This position offers autonomy and responsibility, allowing for a direct impact on projects and client accounts within a collaborative and supportive team focused on mentoring, professional development, and innovation.

Requirements

3+ years' experience programming in Alchemer (Survey Gizmo), Confirmit, Decipher, or a similar survey scripting platform.
Good knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery, with advanced knowledge of HTML and CSS.
Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to on-time delivery.
Experience training or mentoring other programmers.
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage stakeholders at all levels globally.
Exceptional attention to detail and an analytical, solutions-focused mindset.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and growing business.
Must be based in the US.
Required to work within Eastern Standard Time.

Responsibilities

Program complex online questionnaires, including survey scripting, multi-language management, and reporting.
Take full ownership of high-complexity programming projects from end to end, with a consultative approach to client setup and builds.
Work collaboratively with Project Managers and the Research Team to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, upholding rigorous quality control and Savanta's 'Right First Time' standard.
Support, mentor, and train other programmers, sharing best practice across the team.
Contribute technical insight to client meetings, new business calls, and project budget management.
Help drive new tools and process improvements across the programming workflow.
