About The Position
OEC provides software solutions to those who work in the automotive parts and repair industry. Our solutions make it easier for automotive industry professionals to buy and sell parts, conduct repair research & planning, optimize estimates, improve the parts supply chain, and more. OEC partners with many of the world’s largest manufacturers, dealers and suppliers, shops and repairers, and service providers, giving our customers access to a comprehensive network and a streamlined workflow. We’re looking for an ERP Finance Systems Analyst to serve as the connection point between Finance, Accounting, and Technology. This role will support and continuously improve our ERP environment by partnering with Finance and Accounting stakeholders to improve processes, troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and deliver system enhancements. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Finance and Accounting processes combined with hands-on ERP business systems experience. Microsoft Dynamics NAV is preferred, but experience with other Microsoft Dynamics platforms, including Business Central, Dynamics GP, or Serenic Navigator, will also be considered.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in business systems analysis, ERP application support, or a related business/technology role.
- Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, purchasing, reporting, and reconciliations.
- Hands-on experience supporting ERP applications, including requirements, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and user support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively partner with Finance/Accounting users, technical teams, and vendors.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ERP implementations, upgrades, integrations, or data migrations is a plus.
- Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience preferred. Business Central, Dynamics GP, Serenic Navigator, or comparable ERP experience will also be considered.
- Experience with SQL, reporting, or data analysis is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to understand processes, identify improvements, and translate business needs into ERP solutions.
- Support ERP configurations, enhancements, workflows, troubleshooting, and ongoing application improvements.
- Gather and document business and functional requirements and partner with IT, developers, and vendors on solutions.
- Support Finance and Accounting processes including GL, AP, AR, purchasing/procurement, financial reporting, reconciliations, and related workflows.
- Lead or support functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing.
- Troubleshoot application and data issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver sustainable solutions.
- Create process documentation, user guides, and training materials.
- Support ERP upgrades, integrations, data migration, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
