About The Position

Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production and supply chain operations within a food manufacturing facility to ensure efficient material flow, production output, and compliance with quality and safety standards. Perform data-driven analysis of production and supply chain processes using operational data to identify root causes, assess risks, and recommend engineering-based solutions. Evaluate strategies to optimize operational efficiencies to improve productivity, efficiency and quality across production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping operations. Provide technical guidance and operational feedback to cross-functional and technically skilled team members to support operational objectives. Develop and support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operating costs. Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) dashboards to highlight performance opportunities and enable data-driven decisions. Ensure compliance with company policies, FDA regulations, OSHA requirements, and food safety standards, including GMP and HACCP practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (US or Foreign Equivalent) in Engineering, operations management, or similar field and 3 years in manufacturing in Food/Beverage industry.
  • Developing and supporting continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma based methodologies to reduce waste, improve process performance, and enhance operational efficiency
  • Developing, documenting, and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) to support consistent, safe, and efficient food manufacturing operations
  • Assessing operational processes to identify high-risk areas related to safety, quality, production disruptions and recommending mitigation strategies to reduce operational risk
  • Using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to review, analyze, and support production planning, inventory management, and operational reporting
  • Supporting food safety and quality audits (e.g SQF or similar) by preparing documentation, reviewing processes, and supporting corrective actions to ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Developing, analyzing, and maintaining bills of materials (BOMs) to support accurate production planning, material availability, cost control, and manufacturing execution
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including quality, research and development (R&D), warehousing to support operational improvement initiatives
  • Developing, maintaining, and enhancing operational reporting and performance dashboards using data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar software.
