About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for Senior Supplier Program Mgmt Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role involves developing and managing business plans, assessing market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and market share. The specialist will translate broad concepts and business strategies into structured product plans, utilizing market research to monitor competitive activity and identify customer needs. Responsibilities include determining program spend, developing forecasts for financial planning, and evaluating recovery, corrective, and preventative action plans. The role also involves providing data to support communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues, and opportunities. A key aspect is the ability to understand the big picture, the inter-relationships of all positions and activities within the system, and the impact of changes. This includes seeing and understanding inter-relationships between system components and plans, anticipating future events, and applying systems thinking principles to accelerate performance. The Senior Supplier Program Mgmt Specialist will serve as the primary interface with external and internal leadership for program execution, including all business reviews.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Aviation Supply Chain/Product/Program management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office products
  • Experience with presenting to interior and exterior partners (up to executive level)
  • Experience with profit and loss forecasting

Responsibilities

  • Develops and manages business plans, assesses market penetration, and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.
  • Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product plans.
  • Utilizing market research, monitor competitive activity, and identify product line and customer needs.
  • Determine program spend and develop forecasts which will be used to develop financial plans.
  • Evaluate elements of recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
  • Provides data to support the communication of supplier performance plans, risks, issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to understand the big picture and the inter-relationships of all positions and activities in the system, including the impact of changes in one area on another area.
  • Ability to see and understand the inter-relationships between components of systems and plans, anticipate future events, and apply the principles of systems thinking to accelerate performance.
  • Primary interface with external and internal leadership in support of program execution, including all business reviews.
