About The Position

As a Senior Supplier Development Engineer at Honeywell Aerospace, you will lead initiatives to improve supplier performance, quality, innovation, and operational excellence. You will develop supplier capabilities and ensure delivery of high-quality products and services while aligning supplier development work with organizational goals.

You will lead and mentor a team of supplier development engineers and professionals, supporting their growth and the successful execution of development projects. The role also involves establishing supplier performance standards, conducting regular assessments, and working with suppliers to identify and address improvement opportunities. As a people leader, you will help recruit and develop talent, identify successors, support retention and engagement, and foster an inclusive, diverse culture. Travel is up to 50%, with occasional international travel.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in supplier development, engineering, or a related leadership role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of supplier development strategies, supplier relationship management, and quality control.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a U.S. person, defined as a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or person with protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
