Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense. PSD Maintenance has an opening for a First Shift Senior Supervisor, Facilities & Maintenance in the Springdale, AR campus. This position supervises employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment as well as maintain our production equipment. Primary focus is to provide supervision for all trades and overseeing multi-trade work orders and projects. Required to cover off hours, winter weather events, and supervise all trades.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in leadership, facilities maintenance, leading building, infrastructure, or maintenance projects; OR Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s degree / Technical School Diploma and 7+ years of relevant industry experience. OR High School diploma or Military / Technical Training (ex: A&P Certificate) and 9+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • Ability to read and understand building infrastructure and technology schematics and blueprints.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree STEM fields or Technical School preferred.
  • Personnel management experience, ideally in a highly technical environment, leading both hourly and salary team-members.
  • Knowledge of Arkansas and National Building codes.
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in troubleshooting, repair and maintain machine tools
  • At least one of the following AR professional licenses (CSL, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC)
  • Experience consulting with management on building maintenance, construction issues and machine maintenance.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, SAP, EMaint, Building Automation Systems, Power BI and AutoCAD.
  • Strong analytical and process‑improvement skills using LEAN and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, QCPC and RCCA) ideally improving EH&S recordables, metrics, and culture.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide front line leadership and supervision to multi trades personnel (Carpentry, millwright, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, Sheet metal, etc).
  • Provide team leadership for process improvements, data utilization and supporting creative and innovative solutions consistent with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Perform work with minimal direction, communicate and collaborate well with team members, Management, Security, EHS, internal customers, and contractors.
  • Oversee the preventative maintenance program, improve unplanned downtime and ensuring the team is trained and follows all safety requirements.
  • Required to cover off hours, winter weather events, and supervise all trades.
