About The Position

Sonalysts, Inc. is seeking a former active-duty submarine officer with Command at Sea experience to manage submarine-related projects and help grow the company’s submarine-related business. The role supports projects and key systems across the company and offers opportunities to lead or support existing projects and contribute to developing new business and winning new work. Sonalysts is a small, 100% employee-owned high-technology services company supporting customers across defense and commercial sectors. Its work includes software development, operations analysis, engineering, wargaming, targeted knowledge elicitation, and large-group facilitation. The company uses a small central corporate structure and a largely decentralized approach to project management.

Requirements

Previously served as an active-duty Submarine Commanding Officer.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI-level security clearance.

Nice To Haves

Submarine Major Command experience.
Experience in a training command or responsibility for tactical training.
Deployed operational experience as an SSN/SSGN Commanding Officer.
Submarine acquisition, budgeting, or resource sponsor staff experience.
Relevant submarine-related industry experience.
Strong credentials in submarine sonar, fire control, imaging, and/or electronic warfare.
An active U.S. Department of Defense Top Secret/SCI-level security clearance.
