About The Position

Relativity Space is hiring a Senior Structures Technician for its Manufacturing team, which develops processes, fabrication strategies, and production equipment for the Terran R reusable rocket. The role supports flight-hardware production through precision drilling, structural assembly, inspection, and finishing work. The technician will follow appropriate safety and shop-cleanliness standards and help foster an inclusive team environment. This is a second-shift role scheduled Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. PT. The schedule is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week. Employees receive a 10% shift differential in addition to base pay.

Requirements

At least 5 years of precision drilling, structural assembly, or integration experience in an aerospace field.
Proficiency with common hand tools and inspection tools, including Mahr gauges.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or team communication tools such as Slack or equivalent.
Experience reading drawings or blueprints.

Nice To Haves

A&P certification.
Experience with composite parts.

Responsibilities

Drill precision holes in flight hardware, selecting appropriate drill motors and drill sizes and using suitable tooling, jigs, or egg cups.
Assemble hardware using structural adhesives, properly torquing fasteners, installing inserts, and installing Hiloks.
Perform in-process inspections using hand tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.
Perform blending or deburring operations with appropriate hand or power tools, then protect hardware with alodine or sealant.
Uphold Relativity Space standards for safety and shop cleanliness.
