About The Position

Humana is seeking a Senior Strategy Advancement Professional to join its Consumer Strategy team. In this remote role, the professional will collaborate with colleagues to address strategic challenges, conduct analysis, and develop applicable recommendations that increase membership growth, retention, and innovation. Reporting to the Director of Strategy Advancement, this role involves working closely with cross-functional teams and leadership to help turn strategy into execution. The position is ideal for individuals who enjoy strategic problem-solving and making an impact within Humana's caring community.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years of full-time experience in strategy consulting, investment banking, or corporate/business unit strategy
  • 2+ years of experience with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • 2+ years of quantitative and qualitative analysis experience
  • Work in Eastern Time Zone
  • At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required for self-provided internet service; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested
  • Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of Managed Care and/or healthcare services work experience
  • 1 year of experience focused on Consumer experience
  • 1 year of project management experience
  • Experience working on business transformation efforts
  • Reside in one of the following locations- Boston, Chicago, Nashville, New York, Louisville and Washington, DC

Responsibilities

  • Manage analysis and work streams within high-profile strategy projects
  • Support interviews and working sessions with leaders across the company
  • Conduct industry, market, competitor, and financial analysis and identify insights for Humana
  • Create high-quality analysis and sections of deliverables that frame objectives and challenges, and articulate insightful findings and recommendations
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members and leaders across the company
