About The Position

Seneca Global Services is seeking a Senior Strategic Project & Technical Coordinator ready to support a dynamic, cutting-edge Department of War (DoW) acquisition program. This position will perform in-depth program analysis and coordination assignments, and services in support of the program. The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable working in a transparent, collaborative team environment and possess outstanding communication, leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills in an agile environment.

Requirements

  • Hold an active SECRET clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • PMP or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) PM Level 3 [PM Level 2 and years of experience may be used as a substitute]
  • No less than five (5) years of relevant experience in a Department of War environment.
  • Must be well versed on the DoW acquisition process.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an acquisitions and operations senior subject matter expert for assigned projects, with responsibility for directing, coordinating, reviewing, and providing expert technical advice relative to the overall acquisition efforts associated with a complex, multi-billion-dollar program of record.
  • Serve as Adaptive Acquisition Framework policy expert for Defense Acquisition Systems developing acquisition strategies, processes, and plans in support Project Managers and Milestone Decision Authority (MDA) compliance with Army Regulations/policies, Department of War (DoW) Instructions, and federal statutory law.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Program Management Resource Tool (PMRT) for data quality standards to provide reliable, decision-quality information to Army senior leaders via the Vantage platform.
  • Assist in planning and programming actions for Annual Program Reviews (APRs) and Program Objective Memorandums (POMs) cycles, quality control of Army Program Budget Briefs (APBBs) and Procurement and Research Development Test and Evaluation (RDTE) [P&R] forms and provide recommendations to limit program cost, schedule, and performance impacts.
  • Provide programmatic, technical, and fiscal management assistance as coordinator of multiple projects supporting current contracts.
  • Be limited to acting in an advisory capacity to coordinate, prepare and review complex documentation for submission to stakeholders and higher headquarters to support and defend positions on specific program matters.
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure requirements and considerations are factored into all aspects of the acquisition strategy.
  • Design program and business strategies to facilitate the acquisition of appropriate and cost-effective technology solutions and achieve mission success while being mutually advantageous to the Department of War and its industry partners.
  • Coordinate with all software support teams to enable continuous integration and feedback across multiple prototyping lanes to ensure immediate horizontal feedback across Development, User, Product Support, and Test lanes.
