About The Position

Learning Commons aims to scale proven teaching and learning practices to benefit every learner by building AI infrastructure that better connects the way students learn to the tools they learn with. The Team operates at the intersection of technology, research, and philanthropy, pairing product development with grantmaking. The work is grounded in the belief that when technology reflects classroom realities and learning science, it can strengthen teaching and unlock new possibilities for students. The rise of generative AI presents an opportunity to accelerate the translation of research insights into practical, classroom-ready tools. In the fragmented edtech landscape, Learning Commons builds open, public-purpose infrastructure to raise the standard for educational tools and create more consistent, impactful learning experiences. The Partnerships Team connects Learning Commons' infrastructure to edtech companies and developers. This role is for a Senior Strategic Partnerships Analyst to join the Partnerships Team, serving as the primary point of contact for a defined portfolio of edtech companies and developers, owning the partner relationship from onboarding through long-term success. The role involves helping partners unlock the value of Learning Commons' infrastructure, acting as a bridge between partners and internal teams, and translating field insights into product and operational improvements. The role also supports onboarding new partners and building scalable processes for the partner network.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in account management, partner success, customer success, or a related client-facing role, ideally in edtech, SaaS, or developer-focused platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously with a high level of organization, responsiveness, and follow-through across all partner journey phases from early onboarding through mature relationship management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical (developer) and non-technical audiences clearly and credibly.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and partner tracking workflows.
  • Analytical mindset with experience using data to assess partner health, inform strategy, and communicate impact to internal and external stakeholders.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying friction in partnership workflows and applying AI-enabled solutions — whether templates, automation, or smarter tooling — to reduce manual lift and improve consistency across the partner journey.
  • Comfort working in an early-stage or growing organization where processes are still being built and your input shapes how things work.
  • Genuine interest in education, learning science, or the edtech ecosystem and a belief in the potential of well-designed technology to benefit teachers and students.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with developers or technical partners, including familiarity with APIs, integrations, or data products.
  • Background in or exposure to the K–12 or higher education space.
  • Experience building or improving onboarding and account management processes from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for a defined portfolio of edtech partners, proactively managing relationships and ensuring partner health.
  • Own the end-to-end onboarding experience for new edtech partners following agreement and contracting, ensuring smooth technical and relational ramp-up with clear milestones and timelines.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to assess partner progress, surface challenges, and identify opportunities to deepen engagement with Learning Commons' infrastructure.
  • Monitor partner usage and integration health; flag risks early and develop action plans to address them in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Act as the voice of the partner internally by synthesizing and escalating product feedback, feature requests, and integration challenges to relevant teams.
  • Gather and analyze partner stakeholder requirements to inform the design of new processes and solutions that better serve the partner ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with the partnerships team on reporting, partner pipeline tracking, and account planning to support a clear picture of portfolio health.
  • Contribute to the development of playbooks, templates, and tooling that improve consistency and efficiency across the partner lifecycle.
  • Support the development of case studies, partner spotlights, and other materials that showcase the impact of Learning Commons' partner ecosystem.
  • Drive operational excellence that supports cross-functional partners and ensures the smooth running of regular business rhythms — catching unanticipated issues and seeing them through to resolution.

  • Generous employer match on employee 401(k) contributions
  • Paid time off to volunteer
  • Funding for select family-forming benefits
