About The Position
The Hi-Rel Space Product and Test Engineering Group is seeking a Test Engineer for its Palm Bay, Florida office. The team develops radiation-hardened integrated circuits for the space industry and works primarily on-site alongside a production test floor. The role develops test methodologies and solutions, including test schematics, PCB layouts, hardware, and test programs. It also involves correlating production test solutions with bench measurements and transferring those solutions to production.
Requirements
- Previous work with analog, mixed-signal, and power ICs, such as LDOs, buck regulators, PMICs, or PWM controllers.
- 12 or more years of experience creating test solutions for automated test environments in the semiconductor industry.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline and at least 12 years of related automated test development experience; or a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and at least 8 years of related experience; or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of related experience; or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is unavailable.

- In-depth experience with 93k, Cohu DiamondX, ETS364, or Teradyne microFLEX.
Responsibilities
- Define test requirements for new ICs in conjunction with the development team.
- Write characterization programs.
- Develop production test programs.
- Design load boards for automated test equipment.
- Perform GR&R studies and transient analysis (spike check/de-glitch).
