About The Position

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems’ Engineering and Sciences Baltimore and Partnered Sites Division is seeking a Senior Staff Radar Modeling Simulation & Analysis Systems Architect for its Foundational Systems Engineering department. The position is based in Baltimore/Linthicum, Maryland, and is full-time and onsite. The role focuses on architecting capabilities across multiple programs through advanced models and simulations of platforms, sensors, weapons, and environmental interactions. This position is contingent upon contract award, transfer of an active U.S. Government Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain Special Program Access. A U.S. Government Top Secret clearance will be required after hire. The architect applies modeling, simulation, experimentation, and analysis to advanced systems, using software engineering, data analytics, statistical methods, and high-fidelity physics modeling. The role integrates simulations with operational flight software and test data, supports formal simulation verification, validation, and accreditation, and leads teams in developing and improving MSE&A products and practices. The role also develops simulation architectures and frameworks to support mission analysis, trade studies, proposals, and operational effectiveness assessments. The position requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and the ability to obtain and maintain SAP access. A final Top Secret clearance is required after hire. The position includes travel approximately 10% of the time. Relocation assistance may be available.
