About The Position

The Senior Staff Product Marketing Specialist/Regional Product Marketing (RPM) Specialist is responsible for the go-to-market strategy, execution, and growth within a specific territory, lifecycle management, and commercial success of the MCU/MPU/Connectivity portfolio. This role translates complex technical specifications into value propositions that resonate with customers, acting as a "General Manager" of that region. The specialist adapts the global strategy to fit local market dynamics, ensuring the EP & C portfolio meets revenue and design-win targets in the specific geography through a deep customer-centric approach. They collaborate with Sales and other stakeholders to identify high-value "white space" and partner with Distribution and Design Houses to build a robust support ecosystem. Ultimately, this role acts as the "Voice of the Region," ensuring that local requirements and competitive shifts directly influence the future products’ roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in semiconductor, embedded systems, or related industries.
  • 5+ years in product marketing or product line management.
  • Experience in P&L management, Strategic Marketing, Technical Marketing, Business development, Applications, Supply chain management, Cost management, or related roles.
  • Understanding of microcontroller or microprocessor or connectivity applications in consumer, industrial, automotive and data center or communications infrastructure applications and systems.
  • Understanding of Microcontroller architectures (ARM Cortex, RISC-V, etc).
  • Understanding of Connectivity Technology (WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC).
  • Understanding of Embedded software ecosystems.
  • Understanding of Semiconductor cost structures, wafer economics, and supply chain dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen with P&L ownership mindset.
  • Strategic thinking with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

  • Identify high potential customer targets for demand creation and design-wins.
  • Execute regional seminars, tech days, partner scouting, enablement, and trade shows for promotion.
  • Track the "Design-In" to "Design-Win" pipeline to ensure future revenue security.
  • Uncover opportunities and provide support to close and win business.
  • Work with distributors to support Key Accounts and "long tail" customers.
  • Establish deep relationships with key customers and align on product roadmap and D-in/win support.
  • Adjust local pricing to stay competitive against local players or customer share, in sync with company ambition.
  • Manage key customer initiatives including Customer Roadmap, Competition landscape, SKU map, SAM, key target opportunities/sockets, SWOT, and customer organization.
  • Develop engagement strategies and customer relationships.
  • Ensure alignment with account strategy and action plans, with long-term tracking.
  • Customize Go-To-Market (GTM) collateral, including pitch decks, product positioning, and articles.
  • In collaboration with FAE/AE, train sales teams and partners on new products, fighting guides, and tech trends.
  • Ensure the MCU/MPU/CONNECTIVITY portfolio has the right "extras" by training partners, preparing evaluation boards, IDE support, and software libraries.
  • Engage with and identify local 3rd party partners.
  • Conduct market analysis through a customer lens to identify emerging trends in IoT, Industrial Automation, Consumer Electronics, etc.
  • Monitor competitors to ensure pricing and performance remain superior.
  • Collect specific regional requirements and advocate for their inclusion on the global roadmap (Voice of the Region - VOR).
  • Scout and monitor competitor activities locally.
