Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer

CesiumAstro•Westminster, CO

About The Position

CesiumAstro develops communication systems for satellites, UAVs, launch vehicles, and other space and airborne platforms. The Skylark product line designs, builds, and tests active phased array antennas for terrestrial and airborne applications, with programs ranging from large ground terminals to connectivity systems for commercial airlines and helicopters. The Senior Staff Power Electronics Engineer applies advanced power electronics expertise to lead the design, development, integration, and verification of power conversion and distribution hardware for complex products and platforms. The role solves highly complex engineering challenges, advances power electronics methods, and serves as a primary technical resource across multiple programs to improve efficiency, reliability, and mission success. The engineer works cross-functionally with electrical, systems, mechanical, FPGA, software, manufacturing, integration and test, quality, and program teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
