Senior Staff Engineer - INFOR M3 Finance Consultant
About The Position
The INFOR M3 Finance Consultant works with clients to understand financial processes, requirements, and objectives, and advises on best practices for financial management using Infor M3. The role configures and implements Infor M3 finance modules, leads implementation activities, and conducts end-to-end testing to ensure system integrity and accuracy. The consultant also develops and delivers end-user training, provides post-implementation support and troubleshooting, and maintains documentation for system configurations and processes. The position involves keeping current with Infor M3 releases and industry trends, identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate financial solutions with other business processes. The role is remote and based in Belleville, Ontario, Canada.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
- Strong experience with Infor M3 and the M3 Finance module.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their financial processes, business requirements, and objectives.
- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
- Advise clients on financial management best practices using Infor M3.
- Configure Infor M3 finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Cash Management, to meet client requirements.
- Lead implementation of Infor M3 finance solutions in alignment with client needs and industry standards.
- Conduct end-to-end testing of financial modules to ensure system integrity and accuracy.
- Develop and deliver training sessions for end-users on Infor M3 finance functionalities.
- Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and assist with system optimization.
- Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with Infor M3 releases, features, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate financial solutions with other business processes.
