About The Position

The Organization Effectiveness Centre of Excellence (CoE) helps shape how TD organizes, develops, and deploys its workforce to deliver business results. We partner with senior HR and business leaders on organization design, workforce strategy, future workforce transformation, governance, and colleague insights. Our mandate is to help one of North America's largest financial institutions build high-performing organizations that are simpler, faster, and positioned for the future. Reporting to the VP, Organization Effectiveness and Future Workforce, the Sr. Manager, Practice Excellence & Enablement serves as the practice leader for the Organization Effectiveness CoE, ensuring strategic priorities are translated into disciplined execution, measurable outcomes, and continuous improvement. This role sits at the centre of the CoE, connecting strategy, execution, capability building, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will build and continuously improve the systems, processes, tools, reporting, and operating rhythms that enable a team of experts to focus on the work that matters most. The successful candidate is a highly organized consultant, transformation leader, or practice management professional who thrives in complex environments. They bring structure where others see ambiguity, establish operational discipline without unnecessary bureaucracy, and are energized by helping expert teams perform at their best.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, transformation, practice management, PMO, operational excellence, or a related field, preferably within financial services.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives and delivering results in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience building and enhancing operating practices, portfolio management, executive reporting, performance measurement, and team effectiveness within a consulting, strategy, transformation, or Centre of Excellence environment.
  • Strong leadership, project management, prioritization, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience leveraging AI, automation, and digital tools to improve productivity, simplify processes, and enable more effective ways of working.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders.
  • University degree in business, organizational effectiveness, organizational development, HR, operations, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage the operating rhythms that drive execution, transparency, accountability, and focus across the CoE.
  • Lead the team's intake, workflow management, prioritization, and work planning processes.
  • Maintain visibility into demand, portfolio health, delivery risks, resource utilization, and key outcomes across the CoE.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reporting, and performance metrics that support decision-making and accountability.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify how work gets done, reduce friction, and improve team effectiveness.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CoE leaders on portfolio management, operational effectiveness, and opportunities to improve team performance.
  • Develop and maintain playbooks, tools, templates, knowledge repositories, and leading practices that improve consistency and quality.
  • Lead annual planning, budgeting, reporting, and team operating routines.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes, capabilities, and ways of working across the CoE.
  • Lead practice management initiatives that improve team effectiveness, collaboration, and execution.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives that strengthen team capability and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Champion the use of AI, automation, and digital tools to improve productivity, eliminate low-value work, and enable higher-value contributions from the team.
  • Translate emerging technologies and leading practices into scalable solutions for the team.
  • Act as a thought partner to CoE leaders, translating strategic priorities into executable plans, processes, tools, and operating rhythms.
  • Design and coordinate learning programs, peer coaching, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Use data and stakeholder feedback to identify opportunities to enhance team performance and effectiveness.
