About The Position

The Senior Manager, Global Organizational Effectiveness, leads strategic human resource initiatives across multiple business areas to drive organizational performance and change. This role involves developing and executing global plans, managing complex projects, and providing expert consulting to influence decision-makers. The position requires advanced analytical skills to assess opportunities, optimize processes, and ensure alignment with business goals. Additionally, the role includes mentoring associates, fostering a collaborative environment, and upholding company policies and ethical standards to support sustained organizational success and continuous improvement worldwide. The team supports Sam’s Club by advancing People Partner effectiveness through diagnostics that distinguish strategic from transactional work. It leads process redesign to automate or retire transactional tasks and integrates AI into People processes and toolkits. The team establishes partnership models defining roles, decision rights, and collaboration cadence with the business. Success is measured by shifting People Partner focus toward strategic activities, redesigning and AI-enabling priority processes, and adopting new partnership models across pilot areas. This team drives organizational effectiveness by fostering innovation, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in organizational effectiveness and change management within global, multi-business environments.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic human resource plans aligned with business goals.
  • Strong consulting skills to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • Expertise in performance management, talent development, and organizational strategy implementation.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing projects, mentoring teams, and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey complex concepts and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Psychology, or related field and 2 years experience in human resources or related field OR 5 years experience in human resources or related field.
