About The Position

Manage operational and technical aspects of Aviation Claims, ensuring efficient, compliant, and customer-focused handling through best practices. This position principally includes providing day-to-day leadership and pro-active evaluation and oversight of Follow Market claims in alignment with lead market recommendations, claims handling agreement(s), aviation insurance policies, and regulatory requirements. This role drives continuous improvement to enhance quality, cycle time, and service while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, brokers, and market partners.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate, evaluate, collaborate, and communicate with stakeholders on Aviation Follow Market and other Aviation claims
  • Act as a critical point of escalation on complex Aviation claims, including coverage issues, denials, large losses, and matters requiring alignment with lead market position and claim handling agreement(s)
  • Identify, analyze, recommend, and implement process improvements across Aviation claims intake, follow decisioning, payments, recoveries, and reporting
  • Maintain current knowledge of aviation products, policy wordings, claim trends, and market practices (including lead/follow protocols) to provide direction and respond to issues
  • Achieve key performance indicators for Aviation Follow Market claims (e.g., cycle time, leakage control, quality, customer service, and market responsiveness) and continuously improve service delivery
  • Maintain current knowledge of aviation products, policy wordings, claims trends, and market practices (including lead/follow protocols) to provide direction and respond to issues
  • Cultivate positive relationships with internal partners, insureds, brokers, adjusters, counsel, and lead market contacts to support timely, consistent Follow Market outcomes
