About The Position

Canvas Worldwide is seeking a Senior Specialist, Programmatic to join their Programmatic group, a subset of the Biddable group. This role reports into the Associate Director, Programmatic. While the programmatic group is specialized, the role requires collaboration with strategy and investment teams for plan execution. The Senior Programmatic Specialist will own campaign management and strategy from start to finish, including planning, trafficking, execution, optimization, and reporting using self-service capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working on a Programmatic Team
  • Knowledge and experience with DSP platforms (DV360, The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP) required
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel formulas and experience manipulating large datasets into digestible insights
  • Proactive attitude with interest in constantly learning and growing
  • Organized with the ability to prioritize projects across campaigns and clearly communicate progress and project completion
  • Experience mentoring and guiding junior level traders

Responsibilities

  • Own campaign management and strategy from start to finish, including planning, trafficking, execution, optimization, and reporting.
  • Master the usage of demand-side platforms (DSPs) for campaign setup, optimization, and reporting, including bulk updates, budget management, and troubleshooting.
  • Utilize reporting suites to glean insights and make optimizations against KPI goals.
  • Apply insights to develop recommendations and set up campaigns.
  • Support managing relationships with platform teams to incorporate innovation and product updates.
  • Learn and master processes and systems for trafficking and workflow management of programmatic campaigns, including primary ad servers, dynamic creative ad servers, billing/planning systems, verification systems, and measurement systems.
  • Become proficient in reporting systems that support programmatic campaigns, including data, verification, and analysis from DSP outputs.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external groups (strategy teams, client, and creative agency).
  • Participate in status meetings and communicate updates.
  • Clarify campaign deliverable requirements with strategy teams.
  • Collaborate with analytics and ad ops teams on tagging requirements and performance QA.
  • Own the billing and reconciliation process, including ad serving estimation, to maintain campaign parameters.
  • Communicate partner recommendations and rationales, and provide feedback on partners.
  • Communicate proactively if deadlines will not be met to manage expectations.
  • Join client meetings and discuss campaign optimizations and performance with rationale.
  • Mentor and guide junior-level traders.
