Success Academy is looking for a Senior Specialist, People reporting to the Lead, People Partner. We are seeking an intellectually curious, experienced HR professional to join our People team. The Senior Specialist, People will play a critical part in the continued deployment of new functionality, developing solutions, and enabling the continued growth of the Success Academy Network Office. In this role, you’ll make an impact by: Developing a deep understanding of the client organization to include the strategy, goals/priorities, needs, challenges, and the people implications to be able to act as a thought partner; Ensuring that people processes, policies/practices, and standards are implemented consistently by leaders/managers while striving to continuously improve the same. Partnering with the People functional pillars (e.g. Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Total Rewards, Talent Management) and other cross-functional partners to support the needs of the business. Handling and helping reduce people risk using data and analytics as/where applicable. Being aware of evolving regulatory influences and changes on management, policies processes and practices, and implications for client organization. Maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive employee information with the highest level of integrity.

Requirements

  • Possess 5+ years of professional HR experience to include deep experience as a strategic people partner supporting different types of client organizations, in dynamically larger roles across multiple forward-thinking companies
  • ER experience in high growth and/or organizations going through major transformation/change
  • Are able to learn and communicate Success Academy’s collaborative culture and school design in a compelling way
  • Can think at the goal level (versus task) and demonstrate good logic
  • Possess a track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, and integrity
  • Have extraordinarily high standards for the quality of work and a reflex to improve at every turn
  • Are proactive and solutions-oriented with the ability to successfully and thoughtfully navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and challenging situations
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing a positive employee experience
  • Foundational knowledge of HR systems like Workday HCM is a plus, willingness to learn is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and care
