About The Position

The Senior Specialist, College Curriculum will oversee the implementation and successful transmission of the college’s curriculum delivery systems. Additionally, this collaborator will be efficient and effective in using data drive decision making and informing as appropriate. This role will work closely with Nursing Education leadership and General Education Leadership as well as the Learning Design and Innovations team to ensure that all aspects of the curriculum are being delivered effectively and completely. This person will work to ensure a positive learner experience along with the entire curriculum delivery team.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
  • A minimum of three years of experience in higher education is required
  • A minimum of three years of experience working with an LMS, preferable Canvas is required
  • A minimum of three years of experience working with student facing measures
  • A minimum of three years of experience working with third party software in higher education
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, word, Teams and PowerPoint is required
  • Demonstrated Experience in managing and overseeing workflows is required
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of ticketing systems, troubleshooting and diagnosing is required
  • Communicates technical information and processes to the wider audience in an understandable and engaging manner
  • Demonstrated effective delegation of tasks critical to the function

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the onboarding process for all new hires to the college curriculum team
  • Conducts analysis of the college’s pilot programs on a semesterly basis to determine needs to increase the effectiveness of those programs
  • Audits all HESI and Compass tests in ProctorU for accuracy and coincide with the needs of the college as well as our third-party vendors
  • Ensures all tests and re-takes are delivered and set up correctly
  • Acts quickly to resolve learner issues as they relate to the third-party testing procedures
  • Collects and interprets data from learner issues from third party testing
  • Communicates challenges with appropriate stakeholders in the college and with our third-party vendors for all Compass and HESI Testing as they arise
  • Acts with impartiality when determining outcomes of testing related exception requests
  • Builds and verifies lists of learner cohort assignments every semester to ensure a seamless testing experience and communicates those assignments to the learners it will impact
  • Updates and ensures accuracy of SOPs for functional training purposes regularly
  • Verifies outreach has been performed for learners who have violated testing rules for exams taken through Honorlock and ProctorU
  • Assists the Faculty Development team in the delivery of faculty facing training as necessary
