About The Position

This Client Specialist role supports the US Specialty Deposits line of business. The position will focus primarily on AML High Risk periodic refreshes and seven-year refreshes across the group’s portfolio, while also providing general client service support as needed. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement. We are considering local candidates based in Chicago, IL and/or surrounding Chicagoland areas.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate AML High Risk periodic refreshes for the portfolio.
Manage seven-year refresh activities and help ensure progress remains on track.
Support compliance deadlines by monitoring review status and driving timely completion.
Provide general client service assistance where needed.
The Specialist, Client Support is responsible for providing support and high quality customer service to clients and prospects in Commercial Banking, liaising closely with the business and clients to complete tasks.
The role requires solid written, verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills.
The Specialist, Client Support supports best practices and handles incoming telephone calls and emails to address client requests in a professional and client-focused manner.
The role makes recommendations on client matters to meet work objectives, ensuring that clients experience a bank that listens actively and demonstrates care for their unique needs.
The role receives general instructions on routine work and participates in group projects as required.
