About The Position

This role provides a deeply people-centric service experience across meaningful people processes including new hire orientation, benefits enrollment, and leave of absence administration. The Senior Specialist, Benefits will be the warm and helpful person that team members come to when they have questions about benefits. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in team member benefits
  • Demonstrated proficiency in HRIS systems, preferably experience with Dayforce and ADP
  • Thorough knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws that impact benefits and compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

Responsibilities

  • Manage enrollment, processing, and reporting of all benefit offerings.
  • Serve as the direct liaison with the benefits broker.
  • Collaborate with other members of the People team to ensure proper administration of benefits.
  • Proactively escalate for support when unsure of an answer or needing more information.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for team member benefit questions and requests.
  • Facilitate the leave of absence process, providing clear guidance to team members.
  • Monitor benefit offerings for emerging themes from team members and industry trends.
  • Recommend enhancements to benefit offerings for the future.
  • Partner with members of the People team to explore and suggest additional reporting and tools.
  • Understand and execute excellent documentation, collaboration, and communication processes.
  • Improve ways of working in documentation, collaboration, and communication.
  • Use data in the development and execution of dashboards to inform decision making.
  • Ensure compliance with legal considerations and regulatory requirements of benefit administration.
  • Manage annual audits through understanding and ownership of plan administration and compliance.
  • Ensure protection of team members’ privacy and data.
  • Improve upon the ways sensitive information is managed.
  • Ensure accurate data, meet deadlines, and transmit information through secure platforms.
  • Exemplify the importance of work-life integration/balance.
