About The Position

This role is responsible for developing, administering, and improving SRK-OH’s benefit plans, maintaining effective communication with benefit providers, and leading renewal activities. The position also ensures payroll procedures are effective, efficient, and accurate, and develops and manages wellness programs to improve associate health and well-being, all while implementing SRK-OH’s philosophies throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience (at least 5 years in a benefit-related role), coupled with a commitment to continue education
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Maintain effective communications with all associates, at all levels
  • Proficiency in basic computer functions

  • Associates at all levels must maintain their Roles and Responsibilities as outlined within SRK-OH’s policies and procedures to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO9001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee entire Benefit program and continuously focus on benefit improvement ideas
  • Ensure benefit enrollment meetings for new Associates
  • Conduct Sentaku (Open Enrollment) meetings annually
  • Ensure benefit information is processed and entered correctly and provided in a timely manner to benefit providers
  • Monitor accuracy and timeliness of FMLA and Short-Term Disability claims
  • Manage compensation and payroll functions to ensure accurate payout of bonus pay programs
  • Provide necessary payroll reports to internal departments
  • Process Unemployment Claims
  • Conduct ADP system updates for associate profile data accuracy in both e-time and ADP
  • Conduct 401(k) enrollment meetings and oversee participation in Plan. Develop ways to increase participation and contribution levels
  • Lead the 401(k) Investment Policy Committee. Work closely with Plan Sponsor and Investment Advisor to ensure plan compliance
  • Provide 401(k) education to Associates, with focus on their financial well-being
  • Know and administer policies, procedures and practices. Understand and promote SRK-OH’s philosophies that Associates are our most valuable resource
  • Review and analyze benefit expenditures and utilization. Provide appropriate information to upper management
  • Utilize aggregate medical data to determine wellness direction and initiatives
