Senior Special Operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)

Ludus Tactical International•Tampa, FL

About The Position

Ludus Tactical International LLC is seeking experienced Senior Special Operations Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support USSOCOM under a potential Joint SOF Readiness Training Support single-award IDIQ contract, formerly known as UEWTEP. The contract would provide support for priority training events convened worldwide by supported combatant commands, helping maintain Special Operations Forces (SOF) readiness and improve integration, interoperability, and interdependence with U.S. Conventional Forces, interagency partners, and foreign allies. The position is contingent upon contract award. SMEs will assist Combatant Commands and Major Subordinate Commands with planning, execution, and evaluation of readiness events. Work may involve exercise planning, scenario design, operations support, senior SOF advising, senior operations and plans, and integrated support across functional roles, domains, and mission areas. Personnel will use joint training and readiness systems and tools to support Government activities worldwide. Contractor personnel directly support Government-led efforts; they do not independently plan or execute training and readiness program requirements. The role supports the full lifecycle of USSOCOM collective training and readiness events, including command-level readiness insight, decision support, integration guidance, and non-directive advisory support. SMEs may coach and mentor readiness event designers, advise battle staffs, support senior-leader decision-making, develop realistic scenarios, and provide real-time and post-event recommendations. The contractor workforce may include both full-time and part-time positions, and the position requires overseas travel and work capability.
