These positions responsibilities are to manage internal Special Education human resource and budget operations. This position provides high-level management support to the Executive Director of Special Education by planning, approving, implementing, directing, coordinating and evaluating operational needs. In addition, this role provides highly technical, in-depth analysis and expertise on complex assignments that include developing and interpreting budgets, monitoring expenditures, resolving financial problems, creating district-wide reporting systems and procedures, legal compliance adherence, labor negotiations, contract management, and coordination of state, federal, and grant requirements. This position also collaborates with principals and hiring managers to facilitate staffing needs and allocate positions.
