This role involves planning and managing various facility-related projects, including infrastructure, renovations, relocations, occupancy, workplace modernization, and closeout. The position requires developing and maintaining project documentation such as schedules, milestones, dependencies, action logs, budgets, and estimates. It also involves coordinating with a diverse range of stakeholders, including scientific, administrative, facilities, architecture/engineering, IT, and vendors, and facilitating meetings. The role includes monitoring project status, resources, risks, issues, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and performance, and recommending mitigation and corrective actions. Technical support for laboratory, clinical, animal research, data center, office, and other mission-critical environments is a key responsibility, ensuring operational continuity. The position requires preparing various reports and documentation, including status reports, risk registers, change records, technical analyses, executive briefings, presentations, data-call responses, and closeout reports. Support for CAD drawings, space planning studies, relocation plans, customer engagement, and decision-support products is also expected. Ensuring deliverables are accurate, timely, professional, current, and compliant with Government requirements and applicable federal facility practices is crucial. The role involves developing Programs of Requirements, test fits, CAD drawings, Scopes of Work, estimates, RFP packages, furniture packages, and vendor evaluations. Coordination of FF&E, data infrastructure, security, AV, relocation, and building-system upgrades, along with identifying reuse and cost-avoidance opportunities, are also key duties.
