The Conrad Washington DC is seeking a Senior Sous Chef to join their exceptional leadership team. This role involves leading daily kitchen operations and creating memorable guest experiences. The Conrad Washington DC is a boldly designed, stunning hotel in the heart of downtown DC, recognized as Hilton's Luxury Hotel of the Year for 2022. It features 360 rooms, 32,000 square feet of banquet space, and 5 food and beverage outlets, including a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, lobby bar, club lounge, and in-room dining.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and in-the-moment coaching to kitchen staff, with either a focus on Outlets or Banquets
• Manage daily kitchen operations, including creating and monitoring production lists, completing line checks, and expediting service periods
• Develop and implement seasonal menus, promotional features, and daily specials
• Foster strong, positive relationships between Front of House and Back of House teams to ensure seamless operations
• Assist with inventory management, ordering, and scheduling
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations, ensuring the highest standards of guest and team member wellbeing
