About The Position

THG Ingenuity is a proprietary SaaS technology, robotics and operations platform for global ecommerce. THG Fulfil, part of THG Ingenuity, provides integrated warehousing, fulfilment and courier management solutions for ecommerce brands and enterprise businesses, combining warehouse automation with proprietary technology. Its capabilities include AutoStore, Libiao and Geek+ robotics, supported by its WMS, WCS and OMS platforms.

The Senior Solutions Engineer will design innovative, scalable and commercially viable warehouse and fulfilment solutions for THG Fulfil’s enterprise clients. Working with customers and commercial, operations, engineering and technology teams, the role translates complex operational requirements into warehouse designs that optimise capacity, throughput, productivity and cost efficiency. Solutions encompass layouts, material flows, storage strategies, automation technologies and systems integration. The role supports third-party automation opportunities and wider 3PL proposals, including transitions of enterprise customers into THG Fulfil facilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse solutions design, logistics engineering, intralogistics, automation engineering or supply chain solutions.
• Experience designing warehouse or fulfilment solutions for large-scale or complex operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes, including storage, replenishment, picking, packing, sortation and dispatch.
• Knowledge of warehouse automation, including robotics, automated storage and retrieval systems, conveyors or goods-to-person solutions.
• Experience with warehouse layouts, capacity planning, throughput modelling and operational analysis.
• Commercial awareness, including experience supporting cost models, ROI calculations and customer proposals.
• Understanding of WMS, WCS and OMS platforms and their integration with warehouse automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to present complex solutions clearly to technical and commercial stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience within 3PL, contract logistics or ecommerce fulfilment.
• Exposure to AutoStore, Libiao, Geek+ or warehouse design and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end warehouse and fulfilment solutions for complex enterprise customers, from initial concept through to detailed proposals.
• Develop warehouse layouts, storage strategies, material flows, picking methodologies and operational processes.
• Evaluate and incorporate automation technologies, including AutoStore, Libiao and Geek+ robotics, based on customer requirements.
• Assess capacity, throughput, labour requirements and operational constraints to ensure solutions are scalable and deliverable.
• Work with enterprise customers to understand operational requirements, order profiles, volumes, growth plans and service-level expectations.
• Lead site visits, operational assessments and discovery workshops to gather requirements and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Translate customer needs into clear technical specifications and tailored fulfilment solutions.
• Develop capacity plans, throughput models and operational resource requirements using customer data.
• Support solution simulations, cost modelling and ROI analysis to demonstrate proposed solutions’ benefits.
• Work with commercial teams to ensure designs are technically feasible, cost-effective and commercially viable.
• Produce technical solution proposals incorporating warehouse layouts, process flows, automation configurations and supporting financial analysis.
• Present solutions to customer stakeholders and support tenders, RFPs and complex sales processes.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, software and implementation teams to validate designs and ensure successful delivery.
• Define integration requirements across THG Fulfil’s WMS/WCS/OMS platforms and automated warehouse equipment.
