About The Position

The Senior Solutions Architect will provide architecture design, guidance, governance, and version support for a suite of enterprise business applications. The role includes assessing upgrade impacts, patches, and enablement requests; developing application architecture; and leading architecture reviews in partnership with the enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment with corporate standards.

The position will lead vendor risk assessment and technical architecture review for a document management system replacement, including capability gap analysis, ROM and proposal evaluation, and technical ownership through implementation. It will also drive architecture governance and nuclear regulatory compliance for the Nuclear AI Platform strategy, including Bifrost credential and readiness requirements and Gemini enablement, and maintain related compliance documentation as platforms and processes change.

The role will standardize security onboarding for contractors and non-US personnel supporting Nuclear IT engagements and lead impact assessments for API gateway migrations affecting core nuclear business systems. This is a 12-month temporary project with possible extensions, based 100% at the client's site in Jupiter, Florida; remote work is not permitted. The stated start date is ASAP.

Requirements

• Availability to work 100% of the time at the client's site in Jupiter, Florida; candidates must be able to relocate as required.
• 11 or more years of experience with enterprise application architecture design and governance.
• Experience with application architecture reviews and impact assessments.
• Experience with vendor risk assessment and technical evaluation.
• Experience with document management system implementation.
• Experience with nuclear regulatory compliance documentation.
• Experience with AI Platform architecture governance.
• Experience with Bifrost credential and readiness requirements.
• Experience with Gemini enablement.
• Experience with API gateway migration, including TYK.
• Experience with data pipelines and Change Data Capture (CDC).
• Experience with Lakeflow Connect.
• Experience with Databricks migration.
• Experience with open-source Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with cloud container services.
• Experience with architecture standards and decision records.
• Experience with Service Level Agreement (SLA) definition and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture design, guidance, and version support for a suite of enterprise business applications, assessing the impact of upgrades, patches, and enablement requests.
• Develop application architecture and lead architecture reviews, partnering with the enterprise architecture team to ensure alignment with corporate-level standards and guidance.
• Lead vendor risk assessment and architecture review for a document management system replacement, including capability gap analysis, ROM and proposal evaluation, and technical ownership through implementation.

• Maintain and update nuclear regulatory compliance documentation as new platforms and processes are introduced.
• Standardize and maintain the security onboarding process for contractors and non-US personnel supporting Nuclear IT engagements.
• Lead architecture impact assessments for API gateway migrations, such as migration to TYK, affecting core nuclear business systems.
