NVIDIA•Santa Clara, CA
•$184,000 - $356,500

About The Position

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Retail Solutions Architect team, focusing on GPU, NVLink, and infrastructure design. The role helps customers and OEMs design and deploy next-generation GPU-based clusters for AI supercomputers and enterprise AI infrastructure. It serves as a technical bridge between NVIDIA engineering and field teams, applying NVIDIA GPU, NVLink, networking, and software technologies to demanding customer requirements. The work covers end-to-end cluster design and architecture, performance modeling, validation, and new product introduction (NPI) deployments. The position involves supporting large-scale AI training clusters as well as modular inference clusters, assisting with new product deployments and network architectures, and helping enterprises investigate cluster design and configuration issues. The architect also provides feedback to product and engineering teams on reference architectures, deployment, and performance. The base salary range is $184,000–$287,500 for Level 4 and $224,000–$356,500 for Level 5. The role is also eligible for equity and benefits. Applications will be accepted at least until October 31, 2026. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

  • Proven expertise designing large-scale distributed systems, AI clusters, or HPC infrastructure.
  • Ability to communicate technical details to technical leaders and customer executives.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional communications across customers, product, support, and engineering teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience leading large-scale AI Factory or HPC cluster bring-ups or builds.
  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA products, including GPUs, NVLink, and NVIDIA Networking, particularly debugging deployment issues involving NVLink.
  • Knowledge of NCCL, MPI, IMEX, NMX, and collectives in distributed training as they relate to cluster designs.
  • External customer-facing skills and background.
  • Effective time management and ability to balance multiple tasks and customers while creatively debugging and solving problems.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to design GPU clusters spanning compute, networking, and storage, from large-scale AI training clusters to modular inference clusters.
  • Work closely with OEMs to support successful first deployments of new products, including new network architectures and topologies.
  • Provide feedback to product and engineering teams on reference architectures, deployment, and performance.
  • Provide hands-on assistance to enterprises in debugging issues related to cluster design and configuration.
  • Support NPI customer deployments involving new GPU and networking architectures.
