From autonomous cars to life-saving robots, our digital and software technology experts think outside the box as they provide unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. Join us for a career full of opportunities. Where you can make a difference. Where no two days are the same. Capgemini is seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect – Teamcenter to lead the transformation of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities for a major Aerospace & Defense organization. In this strategic leadership role, you will serve as the primary Teamcenter solution authority on a large-scale modernization program, helping replace aging legacy PDM and process-planning systems with a modern, scalable, and future-ready Teamcenter platform. You will be responsible for defining the end-to-end solution architecture, translating complex business requirements into robust Teamcenter capabilities, and ensuring the platform is designed to support next-generation engineering practices, including AI-enabled and agent-assisted workflows. Working closely with client stakeholders, delivery teams, and global consultants, you will drive technical excellence, solution governance, and successful program outcomes across a distributed delivery model. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned Teamcenter expert who has successfully architected and delivered enterprise-scale PLM transformations within highly regulated and complex industries.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of experience in PLM solution architecture with deep, hands-on expertise in Siemens Teamcenter implementations and enterprise delivery programs.
  • Proven success leading multiple full lifecycle Teamcenter deployments, including data modeling, BMIDE development, configuration management, CAD integrations, BOM management, and MBPP capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of modern PLM architectures and the principles required to enable AI-driven, agent-assisted, and data-centric engineering environments.
  • Experience designing and implementing scalable integrations using APIs, services, and modern digital engineering frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead architecture and delivery teams across global onshore-offshore models while maintaining quality, governance, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Extensive experience migrating complex legacy PDM systems and transforming engineering processes into modern PLM platforms.
  • Aerospace & Defense industry experience, or experience within similarly regulated, highly complex manufacturing environments, with a deep understanding of compliance, governance, and engineering data management requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall Teamcenter solution architecture, including data models, BMIDE configurations, item and BOM structures, workflows, security models, and system configurations.
  • Translate legacy PDM and process-planning functionality into scalable Teamcenter solutions while defining the optimal balance between configuration and customization.
  • Design AI- and agent-ready PLM architectures by leveraging APIs, structured data models, and modern integration frameworks that enable augmented engineering workflows.
  • Define and govern the integration strategy for CAD systems, BOM management, Manufacturing Process Planning (MBPP), and related engineering applications.
  • Develop solution approaches that modernize legacy capabilities while maintaining a clean, supportable, and upgrade-friendly Teamcenter environment.
  • Provide accurate effort estimates, implementation assumptions, and solution recommendations that strengthen program planning and delivery confidence.
  • Lead and mentor a global onshore-offshore team, ensuring architectural consistency, design quality, and resolution of complex technical and business trade-offs throughout the program lifecycle.
