About The Position

Muon Space is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional planning and execution for its High Performance Compute, Simulation, and Test Teams. The role works closely with engineering leaders across software, hardware, science, and product to coordinate work from early concept through delivery and launch. The Senior TPM develops schedules and milestones, identifies gaps and risks, supports resource planning, and keeps stakeholders informed. The role leads large initiatives, aligns teams, unblocks issues, and delivers software capabilities that support Muon’s mission, while providing the structure and process discipline needed to scale development and enable timely, high-quality decisions in a complex interdisciplinary environment. This is a hybrid position requiring work on-site at Muon’s San Jose, California office three days per week. The position requires access to export-controlled information, so applicants must meet the stated U.S. export-control eligibility requirements. Muon Space designs, builds, and operates low-Earth-orbit satellite constellations that deliver mission-critical data. The company’s integrated technology stack and spacecraft manufacturing and payload-integration facility support missions including climate monitoring and national security.
