About The Position

Odyssey Systems is hiring a Senior Software Product Manager to support the Command, Control, Communications (C3C)/Kessel Run division. The role supports the C3C/KR WingC2 Branch and contributes to mission success by helping deliver capabilities to the warfighter. The position is full-time and remote. The job description also lists Hanscom AFB in Bedford, Massachusetts, and notes that travel may be required at the customer's discretion. The Product Manager works with customers, stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional product and technical teams to guide product strategy and delivery. Responsibilities include understanding customer use cases, defining and communicating product metrics, supporting roadmap development, documenting specifications and user stories, managing trade-offs and alignment, and using research and data to improve products. Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must have an active Top Secret-level clearance.
Extensive product management experience in customer-facing technology.
Skilled in testing and research methodologies, including A/B testing, split testing, usability studies, and other customer research techniques.
Hands-on experience with analytics and dashboarding tools such as Google Analytics, Google Optimize, Looker, or similar platforms.
Strong understanding and practice of agile and lean methodologies.
Expertise across the full product development lifecycle, including successfully managing medium- to large-scale products from vision through launch.
Deep understanding of business strategy, product metrics, and data-driven decision frameworks.
Excellent analytical abilities and demonstrated strength in synthesizing data into actionable insights.
Ability to multitask and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced, tech-savvy organizations.
Ability to shift between high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
Strong communication skills and experience influencing and engaging senior leadership stakeholders.
Effective stakeholder management and cross-functional alignment skills.
Self-motivated and self-directed, with the ability to operate autonomously.
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong bias toward customer-focused innovation.

Nice To Haves

BA/BS degree.
10 years of directly related experience, including 5 years in a DoD setting; or 15 years of directly related experience, including 8 years in a DoD setting.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of internal and external customers, stakeholders, and their use cases.
Assist with defining, monitoring, and communicating key performance indicators for the product area.
Assist in creating the product roadmap process, defining roadmap sequence, and ensuring initiatives align with business objectives and metrics.
Define and document product specifications and user stories to support implementation of new or enhanced features.
Build relationships across the organization, promote transparency around roadmaps, manage trade-offs, drive alignment, and maximize business value while minimizing risks.
Partner with data analysts, data scientists, engineers, Creative/UX/UI, and product teammates to execute roadmap objectives.
Use quantitative and qualitative data to improve products in ways that matter to users and have the greatest impact on KPIs.
