About The Position

Labcorp is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Lead, Software Product Manager to own and drive the vision, roadmap, and execution for a critical product area. The role is responsible for aligning cross-functional teams, developing product strategies, and delivering solutions that affect customer adoption, satisfaction, and company objectives. The product manager collaborates closely with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define product direction, prioritize initiatives, and deliver features that drive business outcomes. The position is remote, with occasional travel to other locations, conferences, and training events. Applicants living within 35 miles of Burlington, NC, or Durham, NC, follow a hybrid schedule requiring at least three in-office days per week at an assigned location. This is a full-time, exempt salaried position on a first-shift schedule, with standard business hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the employee’s time zone. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility, including earlier, later, or additional hours; reasonable notice will be provided when possible. The application window closes October 24, 2026. The annual pay range is $150,000 to $175,000, and the position is eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan.

Requirements

At least 12 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or at least 8 years with a master’s degree, or a Ph.D. with at least 5 years of experience.
At least 5 years of experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
Proven experience owning product areas and delivering results that directly affect business outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity and establish clarity.
Ability to develop and execute a strategic vision for technology products.
Experience making strategic decisions about internal and third-party technology products.
Strong cross-customer collaboration skills, including harmonizing strategies and needs across multiple customers.
Strong technical acumen and ability to translate complex requirements into actionable development plans.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Self-motivation, proactivity, and demonstrated creative and critical thinking.
Proven collaboration with diverse stakeholders leading to successful product outcomes.
History of establishing high-trust relationships through open communication.
Experience leading and motivating empowered product management teams focused on delivering business value.
Ability to think beyond the status quo, articulate a clear vision, and execute a path toward it.

Responsibilities

Own a defined product area, including defining strategy, creating roadmaps, and driving product adoption in support of company goals.
Develop and execute a product vision aligned with business objectives, informed by current-state conditions and future needs.
Coordinate across Engineering, Data, Cloud, and other departments to manage dependencies, align teams to roadmaps, and resolve initiatives with minimal oversight.
Partner with internal teams and external customers to gather requirements, harmonize strategies across customer needs, and influence customer planning.
Define, track, and report key performance indicators, including adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and other business-critical measures.
Begin mentoring peers and colleagues and contribute to the development of the product management team.
Navigate ambiguity, make sound decisions that provide clarity, and determine when to escalate issues to accelerate resolution.
Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with C-level executives, product teams, technical stakeholders, and other audiences.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and business stakeholders to define product direction, prioritize initiatives, and deliver features that achieve business outcomes.
