About The Position

The Market Pricing Team @ Pave is seeking a Senior Software Frontend Engineer. Compensation decisions are made daily with insufficient data. Market Pricing empowers teams to price jobs in hours instead of months, using more data, building competitive pay ranges, and understanding the impact of those decisions across their organization. This role will deliver data-dense interfaces where compensation teams can explore benchmarks, price roles, and make high-stakes decisions with confidence. The engineer will architect scalable code and set the standard for craft, focusing on performance, interaction quality, and accessibility. This role will also drive technical strategy and be accountable for delivering outcomes.

Requirements

5+ years of frontend engineering experience
Empathy for compensation teams and understanding of the challenges involved in pricing an employee's pay
Strong judgment in prioritization; understanding that there is as much value in what you descope as through what you ship
Track record of great communication; ability to bring clarity to ambiguous and high-stakes problems
Ability to think and work holistically, taking a systemic lens to technical decisions
Act as a force multiplier, creating reusable patterns, abstractions, or systems that extend beyond your own output
Invest meaningfully in developing the engineers around you through coaching, mentorship, and feedback
Thrive in fast-paced environments and ship thoughtful solutions without over-engineering
