About The Position
This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered. Overall Purpose: Design, develop/code, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions, ensuring efficient delivery processes and production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science.
- 3+ years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
- Designs and codes complex applications.
- Ability to design a solution spanning multiple domain functions.
- Builds software as craftsmanship and implements high-quality code that adheres to the company standards in coding, testing and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, Development and Coding: Design and code software applications by applying various programming languages to execute development methodologies. (Software Engineers MUST design AND code applications at a minimum.)
- Collaboration and Communication: Gather and review software requirements, provide estimates, create design specifications, and work with engineers/architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions.
- Testing and Debugging: Develop and implement automated test plans, validate test environments, data, and results, design and implement code fixes, and produce reporting.
- Maintenance and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues.
- Deployment: Facilitate and support the software deployment process.
